On June 25, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm chaired a working session with relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities to accelerate site clearance progress for urban development projects in Măng Đen Commune.

According to reports, three urban development projects, namely Urban Area No. 1, No. 4, and No. 5, are currently being implemented in Măng Đen Commune, covering a total area of nearly 790 hectares with total investment capital of approximately VNĐ27 trillion. Relevant agencies, local authorities, and investors have focused on compensation and site clearance activities, particularly for Urban Area No. 1.
Urban Area No. 1 covers a planned area of 264.4 hectares, comprising 332 land plots. On June 12, 2026, competent authorities issued a decision approving the conversion of forest land use for project implementation. Land measurement and asset inventory activities have been completed for 331 out of 332 land plots, equivalent to approximately 255 hectares.
Regarding land origin verification, relevant agencies and units have provided site measurement confirmation documents for 250 land plots. Based on these results, the land verification team is conducting further assessments to support the development of compensation, assistance, and resettlement plans in accordance with regulations.
For the 1/500 detailed planning scheme of Urban Area No. 1, the investor has completed the required documentation and submitted it to the People’s Committee of Măng Đen Commune for review and appraisal.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm emphasized that the urban development projects in Măng Đen Commune play an important role in maximizing local potential and advantages while creating new development space and growth momentum for the future.
He requested relevant departments, agencies, local authorities, and investors to strengthen coordination, promptly address existing difficulties and obstacles, accelerate site clearance progress, complete related procedures, and ensure project implementation remains on schedule.
To facilitate the first phase of land allocation and land lease procedures for Urban Area No. 1, the Vice Chairman instructed relevant agencies and local authorities to urgently complete land measurement, inventory activities, verification of land origin and land-attached assets, and approve the 1/500 detailed planning scheme as a basis for subsequent implementation steps.
