Marking the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), on July 24, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee and the provincial Việt Nam Fatherland Front Committee, Vice Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee Đỗ Tâm Hiển visited and presented gifts to war invalids and sick veterans in Cẩm Thành Ward and Khánh Cường Commune.

In Cẩm Thành Ward, he visited war invalids and sick veterans Lê Rê, Nguyễn Ngọc Ngân, Nguyễn Tấn Việt, Phạm Đông Hưng and Lê Văn Duy.

During the visits, Vice Chairman Đỗ Tâm Hiển extended his warm regards, expressed profound gratitude for their sacrifices and contributions to the struggle for national liberation, national defense and national development. He  wished them good health and encouraged them to continue inspiring younger generations through their revolutionary traditions.

Family members expressed their appreciation for the attention and care shown by provincial leaders and pledged to uphold their revolutionary traditions and encourage future generations to contribute to local development.

The delegation also visited war invalids and sick veterans Ngô Thanh Mô, Đỗ Mười, Nguyễn Chính, Võ Đông Dân and Tạ Thị Thứ in Khánh Cường Commune. Vice Chairman Đỗ Tâm Hiển encouraged them to maintain good health, continue embodying the spirit of "Uncle Hồ's Soldiers," and serve as role models for younger generations.

He also called on local authorities to continue improving the material and spiritual well-being of revolution contributors and martyrs' families, effectively implement preferential policies, and further promote the nation's tradition of gratitude and remembrance.

On the same day, Vice Chairman Đỗ Tâm Hiển offered incense in tribute to fallen heroes at martyrs' cemeteries in Khánh Cường Commune, and paid tribute at the Memorial Site of Martyr and Doctor Đặng Thùy Trâm and the Memorial House of Phạm Xuân Hòa, former Secretary of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Party Committee.
