In celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), and as part of the implementation of Quảng Ngãi Province’s night-time economy development project, the People’s Committee of Đặng Thuỳ Trâm commune has issued a plan to pilot a night tourism product titled “Prairie Night – Touch the Clouds”.
The event was held from 3:00 PM on August 9 to the morning of August 10, 2025, at Bùi Hui Prairie – a site known for its eco-tourism and cultural potential. It included activities such as music, local culture, cuisine, and immersive nature experiences.
According to the People’s Committee of Đặng Thuỳ Trâm Commune, this is more than just a cultural and tourism event - it is a strategic step toward promoting the night-time economy, enhancing the local image, and nurturing pride in Hrê ethnic culture.
The program also serves to celebrate the successful conclusion of the first Party Congress of the Đặng Thuỳ Trâm Commune for the 2025–2030 term.
Through this pilot initiative, local authorities hope to evaluate its effectiveness and form the model into a night tourism product. The goal is to develop Bùi Hui Prairie into one of the most attractive destinations in the mountainous region of Quảng Ngãi, helping to promote the land and people of Đặng Thuỳ Trâm Commune to both domestic and international visitors.
