The Party Committee of Ya Ly Commune on July 28 held its 1st Congress for the 2025–2030 term.
The event welcomed provincial leaders, former commune officials, and 110 delegates representing over 400 Party members with the attendance of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Trần Phước Hiền.
Ya Ly Commune was established by merging three former communes—Ya Tăng, Ya Xiêr, and Ya Ly—with a natural area of over 271 km² and a population of 10,412, of which 83 per cent are ethnic minorities.
During the 2020–2025 term, the local Party Committee successfully led socio-economic development, strengthened national defense and security, and built a strong political system.
The total production value increased by 1.22 times, with an average growth rate of 11.8 per cent per year. The poverty rate decreased by over 10 per cent annually, and average income reached VNĐ 52.72 million.
The commune promoted high-value crops such as durian and passion fruit, and expanded herbal medicine farming. Notably, 652 ethnic minority households participated in the home garden improvement program, planting 531 hectares of fruit trees.
For the 2025–2030 term, Ya Ly Commune targets an average annual growth rate of 14.16 per cent and aims to eliminate poverty by 2030.
In his speech, Vice Chairman Trần Phước Hiền praised the achievements and urged the commune to embrace innovation, focus on infrastructure, and boost sustainable agriculture and eco-tourism.
He emphasized the importance of applying science, technology, and digital transformation to improve productivity and quality of life.
At the Congress, the new Party Executive Committee for the 2025–2030 term was announced with 25 members. Nguyễn Thị Yến Bình was appointed Secretary of the Ya Ly Commune Party Committee.
