Leaders of the ward Party Committee report at the working session
In Party building, the ward admitted 50 of the targeted 55 new Party members, reaching 90 per cent of the provincial target. Digital transformation was accelerated through standardized Party member data, the electronic Party member handbook and online Party administrative procedures.
The local economy maintained steady growth, with total output in the first seven months estimated at more than VNĐ1.765 trillion, or 64.2 per cent of the annual plan. Local budget revenue reached about 75.3 per cent of the assigned estimate. Trade, services and industrial production remained stable, while urban infrastructure and public spaces continued to improve. The ward currently has five 3-star OCOP products and one provincial-level typical rural industrial product.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Secretary Nguyễn Đức Tuy commended the ward’s achievements and requested the Party Committee to maintain unity, strengthen grassroots engagement and clearly assign responsibilities for each task.
He called for stronger inspection and supervision, more effective mass mobilization, and closer engagement with residents, particularly in compensation and site clearance for key projects.

The ward was also asked to review and update local planning in line with the provincial master plan, expand urban and commercial-service space, and leverage its strategic location as the northern gateway to the provincial urban center to promote trade and services.
At the same time, Trương Quang Trọng Ward should promote tourism, the night-time economy and riverside services along the Trà Khúc River, linking them with cultural and historical attractions and neighboring destinations. It should also restructure agriculture toward higher-value products and improve the quality of OCOP products.
The ward must also promptly resolve outstanding bottlenecks, improve the investment and business environment, accelerate administrative reform and digital transformation, and work toward developing Trương Quang Trọng into a smart ward.
