Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc requested departments, agencies and local authorities to promptly review and resolve issues within their jurisdiction and report matters beyond their authority to competent agencies.
She asked local authorities to strengthen education and social welfare policies, support university graduates in finding employment, and ensure that parents and students are fully informed of State support policies. Localities were also requested to complete planning and identify suitable land for an ethnic minority boarding school complex.
For socio-economic development, Y Ngọc encouraged the two communes to develop inter-commune periodic markets to promote local specialties and agricultural products, and urged schools to cooperate with local cooperatives to use safe local food for students’ meals.
