On July 25, the Party Committee of Đăk Cấm Ward solemnly held its first Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang attended and delivered a directive speech.
Đăk Cấm Ward was recently established through the merger of the former Đăk Cấm Commune and Duy Tân and Ngô Mây Wards.
During the last term, despite the merger challenges, the Party Committee, government, and people of the ward have made significant progress. The local economy maintained steady growth, with an average annual rate of 10.8 per cent.
Per capita income exceeded VNĐ 75 million per year, and total budget revenue surpassed VNĐ 65 billion.
Urban infrastructure received strong investment, with key projects in transportation, irrigation, healthcare, and education, contributing to the improved urban landscape and quality of life.
Party building efforts were strengthened comprehensively, with 87 new Party members admitted during the term.
In the 2025–2030 term, the Congress set the goal of building a clean, strong Party and political system, enhancing leadership capacity and combat readiness, modernizing public administration, boosting digital transformation, and unlocking the ward's strengths to drive rapid, sustainable development.
The vision includes raising both material and spiritual living standards for residents, ensuring national defense and public security, and maintaining political stability.
In his remarks, Chairman Nguyễn Hoàng Giang commended the ward’s Party Committee for its serious and thoughtful preparation and acknowledged the Political Report’s quality in highlighting achievements and key lessons.

He urged continued unity and swift organizational consolidation after the merger.
He also emphasized the need to leverage Đăk Cấm’s geographic advantages to attract investment, promote industry and services, optimize land use, increase local revenue, and develop modern, sustainable infrastructure.
Agriculture should shift toward high-tech models, and social sectors like education, healthcare, and cultural development, particularly for ethnic minorities, should receive priority, he added.
Chairman Giang expressed his belief that the Đăk Cấm Ward Party Committee and people would maintain their spirit of innovation and solidarity, overcome challenges, and fulfill the goals set by the Congress, contributing significantly to the province’s overall progress.
The first-term Executive Committee of Đăk Cấm Ward’s Party Committee
The Congress also announced the Provincial Party Standing Committee’s decision on appointments for the first-term Executive Committee of Đăk Cấm Ward’s Party Committee. The new committee includes 23 members, with Dương Quang Phục appointed as Secretary for the 2025–2030 term.
