On April 23, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang chaired a meeting to listen to and give opinions on investment proposals for social housing projects in the province.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Trần Phước Hiền, and leaders from relevant departments, agencies, and localities attended the meeting.
A representative of the Khang Nam Group (the investor) proposed four locations that are expected to be selected for the investment in social housing projects in the province. These include a residential area on My Tra-My Khe road (phase 1) in Trương Quang Trọng ward, Quảng Ngãi city, which has an expected area of about 20,559 m2 for approximately 1,000 to 1,200 apartments.

The Social Housing Project at Quảng Ngãi Trade Union Institutional Area in Tinh Phong Commune, Son Tinh District, has an expected area of 2.5 hectares with a scale of about 1,000 to 1,200 apartments.
The Social Housing Project at the Northern Bus Station Land, in Trương Quang Trọng Ward, Quảng Ngãi City, has an expected area of two hectares, with a scale of about 1,200 apartments.
The Social Housing Project at the old Sơn Tịnh District Stadium, in Trương Quang TrọngWard, Quảng Ngãi City, has an estimated area of one hectare, with a scale of about 812 apartments.

All projects are designed to ensure adequate infrastructure and integrated utilities, meeting the housing needs of people in Quảng Ngãi province.
These projects target cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, and low-income people in Quảng Ngãi province.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, highly appreciated the idea of Khang Nam Group of investing in social housing projects in the province.
Giang said that the province is attracting investors to implement social housing projects in the province and issuing a Plan to implement the Project "Investing at least one million social houses for low-income people and workers in the period of 2021-2030" in Quảng Ngãi province.
The PPC’s Chairman assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, sectors, localities, and investors to review the locations proposed by investors, and report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration.
