Attending the event were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Đinh Thị Hồng Minh, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Y Ngọc, representatives of the Department of Education and Training, and a delegation from the “Peace” Scholarship Fund.
At the ceremony, the Fund donated VNĐ 700 million to establish a scholarship fund for the school, along with 500 backpacks and 500 sets of learning supplies for students.
Speaking at the event, Standing Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc expressed sincere appreciation to the “Peace” Scholarship Fund for its meaningful support, emphasizing the humanitarian value of promoting education and talent development. She noted that such contributions not only help improve education quality in Quảng Ngãi but also demonstrate shared responsibility in nurturing future generations and building a sustainable human resource foundation.
Representing the Fund, Phùng Nhật Hà highlighted the special significance of schools named after Heroes and Martyrs, which serve as a reminder of the nation’s patriotic traditions and sacrifices. At the same time, he affirmed that investing in education and caring for younger generations is a meaningful way to uphold and pass on these enduring values.
On behalf of the school, Đỗ Đình Thanh, Principal of Nguyễn Kim Vang Secondary School, expressed gratitude to the Fund and provincial leaders, pledging to manage and use the support effectively while continuing efforts to enhance teaching and learning quality.
