Provincial Party Secretary Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân pays tribute at Măng Đen Martyrs’ Cemetery and Kon Braih Victory Historical Site

On July 27, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Party Committee Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân and her delegation offered incense and laid wreaths in tribute to heroic martyrs at Măng Đen Martyrs’ Cemetery and the Kon Braih Victory Historical Site in Kon Braih commune, Quảng Ngãi province.

The activity was held in commemoration of the 78th War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2025).

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere at Măng Đen Martyrs’ Cemetery, Secretary Vân and delegates offered incense and flowers, expressing deep gratitude to the fallen heroes who sacrificed for the nation’s independence and freedom.

After the ceremony, the delegation lit incense at individual graves, paying sincere tribute to the martyrs.

The delegation then visited the Kon Braih Victory Historical Site - marking one of the glorious battles against French colonialists.

At the memorial house, the delegates respectfully laid flowers and incense in remembrance of those who perished in the January 1954 battle.

The Kon Braih Victory holds great historical significance. It helped expand strategic areas, create momentum for military operations, and contributed to the liberation of Kon Plông, Đăk Tô, Đăk Glei, and the entire former Kon Tum province - playing a crucial role in the 1953–1954 Winter-Spring Campaign.

This is an opportunity to inspire national pride, educate younger generations on patriotism, and reflect the deep gratitude of the Party, government, and people of Quảng Ngãi for the tremendous sacrifices made for the country’s independence, peace, and prosperity.
