On October 23, Hồ Văn Niên, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, inspected the search and recovery operations at 16/3 Square in Kon Tum Ward and encouraged the personnel involved.

At the site, Hồ Văn Niên received reports from the Provincial Military Command and K53 Team on the implementation process, survey and probing progress, and search plans around the square, particularly the key area near the intersection of Đinh Công Tráng and Trường Chinh streets.
He commended K53 Team officers and soldiers for their strong sense of responsibility, sustained efforts and urgency in carrying out their duties.
Emphasizing the profound humanitarian significance of honoring fallen soldiers, he urged all forces to remain proactive, closely examine the site and carefully verify information sources.
He stressed that all survey and search activities must be conducted scientifically, cautiously and accurately, with strict compliance with safety requirements for personnel and equipment.

He also called for continued coordination and a strong sense of responsibility to accelerate the search and recovery of fallen soldiers’ remains.
