Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyễn Đức Tâm conducts on-site inspections and directs the resolution of obstacles in key transportation projects in the province.
QUẢNG NGÃI — Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Đức Tâm and Vice Chairman Nguyễn Công Hoàng on August 8 inspected the progress of several key transport projects and directed relevant agencies to urgently address outstanding difficulties.
The inspection covered three major projects managed by the Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transport Works: the road connecting Thạch Bích Bridge with Tịnh Phong, the Hoàng Sa–Dốc Sỏi Road and the Dung Quất–Sa Huỳnh Coastal Road.
The provincial leaders review construction progress
During the site inspections, the provincial leaders reviewed construction progress, site clearance and land handover, as well as difficulties affecting project implementation.
Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tâm asked relevant departments, agencies and localities to strengthen coordination and promptly resolve bottlenecks, particularly those related to compensation and site clearance.
He stressed the need to ensure continuous handover of cleared land in line with approved schedules, preventing prolonged delays from affecting construction progress.
For the Hoàng Sa–Dốc Sỏi Road project, the Chairman requested relevant agencies to closely monitor construction and coordinate with local authorities to deal with issues arising during implementation.
Regarding the Dung Quất–Sa Huỳnh Coastal Road, he called for greater efforts to accelerate site clearance and resolve difficulties so that construction can proceed smoothly.
The Chairman also asked the project management board and relevant units to clearly identify responsibilities, strengthen supervision and take timely measures to ensure the projects meet their required schedules.
The three projects are expected to contribute to improving the province’s transport infrastructure, strengthening connectivity between key economic areas and supporting Quảng Ngãi’s socio-economic development.
