QUẢNG NGÃI — The 14th tenure Quảng Ngãi People’s Council convened its 7th thematic session on August 28 to consider and decide on a number of important issues within its authority.
The session was chaired by Nguyễn Đức Tuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, together with Vice Chairpersons Nguyễn Cao Phúc, Nguyễn Thế Hải and Nghe Minh Hồng.
In his remarks, Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tuy said the session focused on a number of issues requiring timely decisions to support the province’s development and the effective implementation of policies at the local level.
At the session, the Provincial People’s Council reviewed, discussed and adopted seven resolutions and one report in accordance with the approved agenda.
Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tuy asked delegates and relevant agencies to strengthen supervision of law enforcement and the implementation of the resolutions adopted by the Provincial People’s Council.
He stressed the need to promptly identify difficulties and obstacles arising during implementation and propose solutions to competent authorities. This is expected to help ensure that the resolutions are implemented effectively and meet the province’s development requirements.
The Chairman also called on the Provincial People’s Committee and relevant agencies to closely follow up on the implementation of the resolutions and ensure that tasks assigned to different sectors and localities are carried out in a timely manner.
According to the working plan, the 8th session of the 14th-tenure Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Council, another thematic session, is expected to take place on September 25, 2026.
The session will consider and decide on a number of important issues under the council’s authority.

Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tuy asked the Provincial People’s Committee and relevant agencies to urgently review and complete documents and dossiers to be submitted to the upcoming session, ensuring quality, progress and compliance with regulations.
The move is aimed at creating favorable conditions for the council’s committees and delegates to examine the proposals, conduct reviews and contribute opinions before the session.
The thematic session is part of the province’s efforts to strengthen the role of the Provincial People’s Council in local governance, improve supervision and ensure the effective implementation of policies and resolutions in the new development period.
