On March 21, Nguyen Hoang Giang, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the construction progress of the anti-erosion embankment and the Son Mua Bridge in the mountainous district of Son Tay.
According to the investor's report, the Son Tay District Central anti-erosion embankment project has a total length of over 1 kilometer.
The technical infrastructure project has a total route length of more than 633 meters, with an implementation period from 2022 to 2024.
So far, approximately 90 per cent of the total contract volume for the construction has been completed.
The Son Mua Bridge project, along with the access roads at both ends, has a total length of over 437 meters.
The bridge itself is 179.3 meters long, with an implementation period from 2023 to 2025.
Currently, the project is estimated to have completed about 65 per cent of its total volume.
The completed construction items are generally in line with the requirements of the approved design documents, ensuring that quality, technical standards, and project aesthetics are met.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Hoang Giang, emphasized the significance of two local projects.
These projects are expected to play a vital role in expanding the development potential of Son Tay District, enhancing transportation links with neighboring areas, and significantly contributing to the local and provincial economic growth targets.
To ensure timely completion, he stressed the importance of mobilizing maximum resources, machinery, and construction workers.
The Chairman urged the Son Tay District authorities to expedite the construction progress of these projects.
He also requested that the People's Committee of Son Tay District closely collaborate with both the investors and the construction teams to ensure that the projects are completed, and put into operation on schedule by 2025.
