On July 11, the Government Inspectorate held an online conference to review the inspection sector’s performance in the first half of the year and set out tasks for the second half of 2025.

The conference was chaired by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm, at the Quảng Ngãi provincial bridge site.
Reportedly, in the first six months of 2025, the Government Inspectorate and the Inspection sector have made great efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
The whole sector has implemented nearly 2,800 administrative inspections and more than 39,500 specialized inspections and examinations, proposed to consider and administratively handle more than 670 collectives and more than 2,590 individuals.
In the first six months, administrative agencies have received more than 245,200 applications of all kinds. Among those, more than 239,100 applications have been processed, including more than 203,610 applications that are eligible for processing, accounting for 83 per cent of the total number of applications handled.
State administrative agencies at all levels have resolved more than 12,320 complaints and denunciations under their jurisdiction.
The whole sector has also synchronously and effectively implemented the tasks of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity under the direction of the Central Government, the Government, and the Prime Minister.

Speaking at the Conference, Government Inspector General Đoàn Hồng Phong highly appreciated the efforts of the whole sector in completing the assigned tasks, especially the inspection, settlement of complaints and denunciations, and corruption prevention and combat.
In the coming time, Phong asked the entire Inspection sector to continue to effectively implement the Government's resolutions and work programs, continue to implement the inspection plan in 2025, accelerate the issuance of inspection conclusions, and strengthen publicity and transparency in inspection activities.
