The Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee on July 28 officially launched the campaign of “Bình Dân Học Vụ Số” (Mass Digital Literacy) (the Campaign)
The ceremony was held at the Provincial Hall and livestreamed to departments, agencies, and local authorities across the province.
The Campaign emphasizes a people-centered, inclusive approach to digital transformation, aiming to ensure no one is left behind.
It seeks to equip every citizen with basic knowledge and skills in digital technologies, online transactions, digital safety, and product marketing in domestic and international markets.
It also promotes awareness to help people protect themselves from online scams and harmful content, contributing to a safe and civil digital environment.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Nguyễn Tấn Liêm, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, officially launched the Campaign.
Quảng Ngãi considers the Campaign a key task to implement the Party’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW (dated December 22, 2024) on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
As part of the event, Dr. Nguyễn Lương Vương — Computer Scientist at Chung-Ang University (South Korea), Head of AI Department at FPT University Đà Nẵng, and NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute Ambassador in Việt Nam — gave a presentation on practical AI skills for public employees and government staff to improve workplace efficiency.
