The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has just announced the results of the assessment and ranking of the digital transformation index at the ministerial and provincial levels - DTI in 2023.
This is the fourth year that the MIC has organized the assessment and announced the ranking of digital transformation of ministries, sectors, and localities.
Da Nang city continues to be the top-ranking locality in digital transformation for the fourth year in a row, followed by Ho Chi Minh City and Thua Thien Hue province.
The top 10 provinces and cities with the highest DTI index in 2023 include Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Thua Thien Hue, Lang Son, Can Tho, Hanoi, Binh Duong, Hai Phong, Bac Giang, and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
In 2023, Quang Ngai Province improved its ranking to 21st out of 63 provinces and cities, up from 26th in 2022.
It ranked 12th in Digital Government, 13th in Digital Economy, and 14th in Digital Society.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Finance, State Bank, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and Ministry of Information and Communications were the top 5 ministries in digital transformation evaluation and ranking.
