The Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue of Quảng Ngãi province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 01/CĐ-PCTTTKCN on responding to tropical depression in the East Sea.

This is the first typhoon of this year, named Wutip.
According to the National Centre for Hydrometeorological Forecasting Center, as of 7 am on June 10, 2025, the typhoon's eye was located at approximately 56.7 degrees North and 115.6 degrees East, over the eastern waters of the Hoàng Sa (Paracel) archipelago.
The strongest winds near the eye of the typhoon reached level 8 (62–74 km/h), with gusts up to level 10.
The typhoon is now moving slowly in a west-northwesterly direction at a speed of around 5–10 km/h.
To proactively respond to the typhoon, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue of Quảng Ngãi province requested agencies, units and localities to closely monitor the developments of this tropical depression, and notify owners of boats operating at sea of the location, direction of movement and developments of this tropical depression.
The related agencies and units must be ready with rescue forces and vehicles when required.
Quảng Ngãi Newspaper are requested to strengthen information about the developments of the rainfall to authorities at all levels, owners of boats operating at sea, and people to proactively prevent and respond.
