QUẢNG NGÃI — The central province of Quảng Ngãi has unveiled its 2025 digital transformation plan, aiming to complete the development of e-government and lay the groundwork for digital government operations.
Key tasks include building land, judicial–civil status and electronic health record databases, and connecting information systems to provide services via the national VNeID platform.
The plan also seeks to boost digital economy and digital society initiatives, focusing on enterprises and rural areas under the smart new-style rural criteria.
By the end of 2025, the province targets to establish at least one smart new-style rural model.
The province will fully implement information security requirements as directed by the Prime Minister, while enhancing institutional capacity, leadership, and policy enforcement in digital transformation.
Quảng Ngãi will also consolidate and strengthen human resources for digital transformation at all levels of government, implement signed cooperation programmes to mobilise technology and manpower, and develop digital transformation networks, including business consultants and community digital technology groups.
Proposed solutions include stronger leadership, improved public communication and digital literacy, talent attraction, research and application of advanced digital technologies, and ensuring sufficient financial resources.
