On March 31, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan worked with the Department of Science and Technology on its operation in 2024 and tasks in 2025.
Reportedly, after the merger, the Department of Science and Technology promptly implemented the consolidation of the organizational structure and personnel, and issued regulations, rules, and working programs of the Department.
The Department has coordinated with the Provincial Police to connect the Provincial Administrative Procedure Information System, coordinated with VNPT and the National Digital Transformation Agency to review data on EMC, and deployed plans for shared information systems after the merger of provincial state agencies, ensuring safe and stable operations.
The Department continues to monitor and manage 17 science and technology tasks at all levels.

The Department has also guided organizations and individuals in carrying out procedures on industrial property, received and confirmed dossiers on the quality of imported goods of enterprises in the province.
At the meeting, the Department of Science and Technology recommended the PPC’s leaders to direct and resolve difficulties and problems regarding mechanisms and policies for digital transformation work in 2025.

In his conclusion, the PPC’s Standing Vice Chairman Tran Hoang Tuan acknowledged the results achieved by the Department of Science and Technology in the first three months of 2025.
In the coming time, Tuan urged the Department of Science and Technology to promote the spirit of solidarity and focus on implementing the set goals. In particular. They should develop plans to convert and consolidate the shared database platforms, ensuring the smooth operation and management of the units.
The Department of Science and Technology needs to seek breakthrough solutions in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation, strongly promote innovation activities in enterprises and administrative agencies, and proactively propose mechanisms and policies for science and technology development, Tuan stressed.
The PPC’s Standing Vice Chairman also requested departments and localities to review related contents and support the Department of Science and Technology in implementing science and technology tasks in the province.
