On April 26-27, at Quảng Ngãi General Hospital, doctors from Huế Central Hospital provided free congenital heart screening for children under 18 years old.
This activity belongs to the "Heart for Children" Program organized by Tấm Lòng Việt Fund - Vietnam Television in collaboration with Viettel Group.
The program was initiated in 2008, with the mission of bringing healthy heartbeats to children in the country.
The delegation directly examined and performed echocardiograms for nearly 1,800 children in Quảng Ngãi province.
Through screening examinations, doctors identified 48 children who needed surgical intervention. These children will receive free treatment costs, with a total estimated cost of more than VNĐ 2 billion.
