Quảng Ngãi’s venue
Attending the event at the Quảng Ngãi provincial venue were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Trần Phước Hiền and representatives of relevant departments, sectors, and localities.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the 2024–2025 school year recorded significant achievements, notably the adoption of the Teachers’ Law 2025 - the first comprehensive legal framework on the rights, responsibilities, and policies for teachers and educators.
The National Assembly also approved a resolution on universal preschool education for children aged 3–5 and tuition support for preschool and general education students.
Education quality continued to improve across all levels. By June 2025, 100 per cent of provinces and cities had maintained standards in universal primary and lower secondary education; 27 per cent reached level-2 standards, and 19 per cent level-3 in lower secondary education.
The 2025 national high school graduation exam was conducted safely and objectively, with a pass rate of 99.25 per cent. Vietnamese students continued to excel internationally, winning 11 prizes at the International Science and Engineering Fair and dozens of medals at Asian and international Olympiads.
The sector also advanced digital transformation in management, teaching, and learning. The national education database now covers over 24.5 million student records, and online enrollment services have been upgraded to full-process digital platforms.
Addressing the conference, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính praised the education sector’s achievements and urged continued innovation to improve preschool, general, and continuing education, develop teaching staff and education managers, and ensure equitable access to quality education.
He stressed the importance of preparing thoroughly for the 2025–2026 academic year, with opening ceremonies that are warm, joyful, and meaningful for students.
