A Research and Survey Group for the upcoming 21st Party Congress documents meets with Mo Duc district’s leaders

A Research and Survey Group in charge of developing documents for the upcoming 21st Party Congress, term 2025-2030 led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vo Phien, met with leaders of Mo Duc district on October 25.

The Group implemented research and survey in areas of agriculture, farmers, rural areas, and mountainous areas.

In the Mo Duc district, the agricultural sector is projected to grow at an average rate of 5% annually from 2020-2025.

By 2025, the total production value is expected to reach 1,839 billion VND.

The district has 12 efficient livestock farms and 24 cooperative groups operating in agriculture. These groups are helping members increase their income and improve their lives.

The district has planned concentrated agricultural production areas and clean and organic production areas to increase commodity production and attract investment projects in agriculture.

Additionally, the district is focusing on developing key products and OCOP products to increase added value in the agricultural sector.

Mo Duc district has successfully met all criteria for the National Target Program on New Rural Construction.

12 out of 12 communes and 4 out of 19 communes have achieved Advanced New Rural Communes status.

The district has also completed 9 out of 9 criteria for the new rural district.

The Research and Survey Team raised questions and discussed issues related to agricultural modernization, rural development, new rural construction, and sustainable agricultural development at a recent working session.

They also provided input on development perspectives, goals, targets, and directions for the next term.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien highly appreciated the report summarizing the tasks of agricultural, farmer and rural development in Mo Duc district for the 2020-2025 term.

The Vice Chairman asked the District to consider comments from delegates, update report data, ensure an accurate assessment of socio-economic development, and focus on bright spots in agriculture, farming, and rural areas.

For the period 2025-2030, he asked them to identify local potential in clean and organic agriculture, key product development, and create specific socio-economic indicators.

He said that the Research Team would gather information for Provincial Party Congress documents.
