Ba Gia Commune holds First Party Congress for 2025–2030 Term

Quảng Ngãi - the Party Committee of Ba Gia Commune on July 18 held its first Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term.

Attending the event were Standing Vice Chairwoman of Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee Y Ngọc, former provincial leaders, representatives from various departments, and 180 official delegates representing over 680 Party members of Ba Gia.

Ba Gia Commune was established under Resolution No. 1677/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated June 16, 2025, by merging the former communes of Tịnh Bắc, Tịnh Hiệp, and Tịnh Trà.

The Party Committee was established under Decision No. 2022-QD/TU dated June 17, 2025, with 28 subordinate Party cells and over 680 members.

Despite challenges during the 2020–2025 term—including natural disasters, the pandemic, and administrative restructuring—the commune’s Party Committee, authorities, and people worked together to effectively implement Party resolutions.

The local economy saw stable growth, with an average annual rate of 10.83 per cent.

In 2025, per capita income reached an estimated VNĐ 53 million. Poverty was reduced to 1.69 per cent, and temporary housing was eliminated ahead of schedule.

The Party Committee also made strides in Party building and political system reform.

Digital transformation efforts were evident, with 99 per cent of Party members using the e-handbook app.

Socio-economic development, national defense, and public security were maintained and strengthened.

At the Congress, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Y Ngọc praised the achievements of Ba Gia’s Party Committee and people, and urged them to continue innovation, leadership reform, and strong governance to build a modern, sustainable, and inclusive commune.

She emphasized the importance of digital transformation, infrastructure development, and optimizing local strengths, especially in agriculture and forestry.

The Congress announced the new Party Executive Committee for the 2025–2030 term, including 25 members.

Provincial Party Committee Member and Secretary of the former Sơn Tịnh District Party Committee, Nguyễn Công Hoàng was appointed Secretary of Ba Gia Commune Party Committee.
