Provincial Party Executive Committee Meeting

Quảng Ngãi - The Provincial Party Executive Committee on August 12 convened a meeting to review and approve matters within its authority.

The session was chaired by Ms. Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, together with other provincial leaders.

The meeting discussed personnel matters for the 1st Provincial Party Congress (2025–2030 term) and reviewed the draft report on the province’s socio-economic performance in July 2025 as well as key tasks for the coming period.

The July report highlighted strong, comprehensive results across multiple sectors.

By July 31, Quảng Ngãi had become one of the first provinces nationwide to complete 100 per cent of grassroots Party Congresses for the 2025–2030 term, one month ahead of schedule.

July also marked the first month of operating the new two-tier local government model, with agencies quickly streamlining their structures for greater efficiency.

Industrial production maintained growth, and administrative service centers ensured smooth public service delivery.

The meeting also provided updates from the 12th Central Committee Plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee and disseminated new Party regulations and directives.

In her concluding remarks, Secretary Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân emphasized the importance of completing 2025 targets, accelerating public investment disbursement before the rainy season, implementing socio-economic development solutions, and preparing for the 1st Provincial Party Congress (2025–2030) and the 14th National Party Congress.

She called for urgent action on key projects, disease prevention, anti-IUU fishing measures, and major development initiatives, including the national oil refining and energy center at Dung Quất Economic Zone and the plan to develop Lý Sơn into a marine tourism hub.

She also instructed provincial departments to support communes in administrative reform, digital transformation, and technical infrastructure, and to deploy additional provincial staff to the grassroots level to ensure effective operations under the two-tier government system.
