Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee, Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, on August 4 chaired an extended briefing session to review recent leadership activities and provide direction on upcoming key tasks within the province’s jurisdiction.
Attending the meeting were Standing Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc, Vice Chairmen Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm, Trần Phước Hiền, along with leaders of relevant departments and units under the Provincial People’s Committee Office.
During the meeting, the Department of Construction proposed an investment policy for upgrading National Highway 24.
Emphasizing the urgent need for this project, Chairman Giang noted that the highway is a critical transportation route connecting the eastern and western regions of the province.
He assigned the Department of Construction to work with the Department of Finance and other relevant agencies to develop a detailed implementation plan, identify funding sources, and submit the proposal for higher-level approval.
Chief of the PPC Office, Nguyễn Quốc Việt, presented a consolidated report on the implementation of directives issued by provincial leaders, including progress updates on tasks outlined in previous briefing conclusions and key guidance from the Provincial Party Standing Committee.
The report also highlighted challenges and proposed solutions moving forward.
Chairman Giang praised the dedication and proactive efforts of the PPC Office’s leadership and staff.
He urged continued focus on tracking and accelerating the implementation of assigned tasks, particularly in areas such as economic and social development initiatives, public asset management, office facility repairs, and preparations for projects marking the 80th National Day (September 2) and the 2025–2030 Provincial Party Congress.
