The merger of the Provincial Radio and Television Station into Quang Ngai Newspaper is a strategic step, demonstrating the province's determination to build a professional, streamlined, effective, and modern press, Tuấn added.

The PPC’s Vice Chairman hoped that experts, journalists, and managers would discuss and propose innovative and creative solutions to help the Quảng Ngãi press develop strongly in the digital age.

Associate Professor, Dr. Đinh Thị Thu Hằng, emphasized that the workshop is an important occasion to look back on the 100-year journey of Quảng Ngãi journalism with many great contributions through the historical periods of the province.
In particular, she acknowledged the proactive application of technology, implementation of digital transformation, and development of multi-platform journalism such as e-magazine, podcast, livestream, and social networks, which have contributed to improving the quality and expanding public access to information.

Besides the achievements, Dr. Đinh Thị Thu Hằng also pointed out the challenges and opportunities from the digital transformation process.
At the workshop, representatives from agencies and units presented six out of 30 topics, focusing on the contents of digital transformation and multi-platform development, professional ethics and the identity of Quảng Ngãi journalism through the ages, innovation for the provincial press in the process of integrating digital technology.

In his closing speech, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nguyễn Tiến Dũng, highly appreciated the effective coordination among the units in organizing the workshop, as well as the enthusiasm and responsibility of the delegates, experts, and journalists attending the workshop.
He emphasized that the opinions and presentations of delegates will be a valuable source of information, a scientific and practical basis for press agencies and media management agencies in the province to develop strategies and plans, both preserving the identity of Quảng Ngãi revolutionary journalism and proactively adapting to the digital age.
