On January 15, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang chaired a conference to deploy tasks and solutions for socio-economic development in 2025.
In 2025, Quang Ngai province is determined to complete with the highest results the goals and targets of the Socio-Economic Development Plan of the year and the 5-year period 2021-2025.
According to targets set for 2025, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) growth rate will increase by 7.5 - 8.5 per cent, striving to increase by 8.5 - 10.0 per cent.
GRDP per capita is about 4,710 USD. The proportion of industry - construction and services in GRDP accounts for about 71-72 per cent, of which industry - construction accounts for about 46-47 per cent.
State budget revenue in the province will meet and exceed the targets assigned. The poverty rate of the whole province will decrease by 2.21 per cent.
With the determination to complete and exceed the goals, targets and tasks of socio-economic development in 2025, at the conference, Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Hoang Giang, called for innovation and determination in achieving socio-economic development goals for 2025.
He emphasized the importance of promptly and effectively carrying out the tasks and solutions outlined in various official documents related to the socio-economic development of the province.
Provincial departments, sectors, and localities were asked to deploy specific plans and programs such as the Provincial Party Committee Conclusion, the Provincial People's Council Resolution, and decisions on socio-economic development for 2025.
They were also directed to ensure the alignment with the overall provincial planning goals, and mobilize resources for their successful implementation.
Furthermore, it is vital to adhere to national sector planning to achieve overall development objectives for the province.
The Chairman of the Provincial Peoples Committee asked sectors and localities to focus on reorganizing and streamlining the political system quickly and efficiently without disrupting socio-economic activities.
He requested agencies, units, and localities to develop specific Programs and Action Plans for double-digit growth by February 15, 2025.
