ZhiShan Foundation and Quảng Ngãi Provincial Children's Fund signed a MoU for a new project in 2025.
ZhiShan Foundation and Quảng Ngãi Provincial Children's Fund have just held a signing ceremony for a new project on supporting equipment for six libraries and donating classroom bookshelves to schools in Quảng Ngãi province in 2025.
Accordingly, the ZhiShan Foundation organization will provide equipment inside the library (tables, chairs, shelves, etc.), decorate the library, provide books and comics at four Friendly Libraries at schools, including: Phổ Hòa Primary and Secondary School in Đức Phổ Town, Nghĩa Thắng and Nghĩa Hiệp Secondary Schools in Tư Nghĩa District and Tịnh Giang Secondary School in Sơn Tịnh District.
The ZhiShan Foundation organization will also provide equipment inside the library (tables, chairs, shelves, etc.), toys for children, books, comics, library decoration, lesson plans at two Toy Libraries for schools, including Phổ An Kindergarten and Nguyễn Nghiêm Kindergarten in Đức Phổ Town.
The project’s purpose is to support equipment and books to meet the increasingly high demands of teaching and learning, help students and teachers have good conditions to access and develop the reading movement, update new knowledge, and practice reading skills, create the best educational environment, gradually and effectively implementing educational innovation in the current period and the following years.
Director of the Provincial Children's Fund presented flowers and thanked the sponsor.
As scheduled, the project, once approved by the provincial competent authorities, will be implemented from May to December 2025.
Currently, the Department of Health is coordinating with relevant agencies to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for permission to receive the above equipment and approval of the Project with a total value of VNĐ770 million.

On this occasion, ZhiShan Foundation donated books to support the establishment of 128 classroom bookcases for eight primary and secondary schools in Đức Phổ town and Trà Bồng district, with a total implementation cost of VNĐ 2 56 million, of which ZhiShan Foundation supported VNĐ 194 million, and the schools contributed VNĐ 62 million.
At the ceremony,Lê Thị Diểm, Deputy Head of the Division of Education and Training of Đức Phổ town, said "The ZhiShan Foundation support is meaningful. We are supported not only with library equipment and books, but also with technical support on how to organize effective reading activities and how to encourage students to read books".
Reportedly, since 2020, through the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Children's Support Fund, the ZhiShan Foundation has sponsored the establishment of 11 school libraries in kindergartens and primary schools and supported nearly 650 classroom bookcases with a total of 26,000 books for schools in Quảng Ngãi province. Thereby, it has helped school staff, teachers and students have good conditions for studying and teaching.
