Quảng Ngãi — The Provincial National Assembly Delegation led by Politburo member and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nguyễn Văn Hùng on December 15 met voters in Đăk Rve Commune as part of post-session consultations following the 10ᵗʰ session of the 15ᵗʰ National Assembly.
Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council Nghe Minh Hồng, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm, along with leaders of provincial departments and agencies attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the provincial NA delegation reported on the outcomes of the 10ᵗʰ NA session and briefed voters on newly adopted laws and resolutions.
Voters in Đăk Rve Commune called on authorities at all levels to continue investing in key infrastructure projects, including the construction of a concrete bridge connecting Hamlet 3 and Hamlet 1, and completing a road linking the former Đăk Pne Commune with Đăk Rong Commune in neighbouring Gia Lai Province.
Voters also urged the province to introduce support programmes and preferential credit policies to help people invest in machinery and equipment for production, and to further promote socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas, particularly the former Đăk Pne Commune.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister Nguyễn Văn Hùng praised the local Party Committee, authorities and people of Đăk Rve for their resilience and efforts in overcoming difficulties, which has contributed to positive socio-economic outcomes.
He noted that the commune has adopted policy directions aligned with local realities, but stressed that living conditions in ethnic minority areas remain challenging, requiring continued mobilisation and effective use of resources to develop transport infrastructure in a more coordinated manner.
The minister also emphasised the importance of preserving and promoting ethnic cultural identities in connection with local cultural spaces, while tapping the potential of community-based tourism and eco-experience stopovers to create new growth drivers alongside agriculture.
He further encouraged the locality to promote OCOP products on e-commerce platforms to expand markets, gradually raise incomes and improve living standards, thereby strengthening public trust in local leadership and advancing towards a new term with the goal of a more prosperous and happy life for local residents.
