At the meeting, Huỳnh Thị Ánh Sương briefed voters on the outcomes of the 10ᵗʰ NA session.

After 40 days of intensive, responsible and innovative work, the legislature passed 51 laws and 39 resolutions, including eight normative resolutions.

The legislative workload accounted for about 30 per cent of the total laws and resolutions issued during the entire term, helping remove institutional bottlenecks, improve the legal framework and create new space for political, economic, cultural and social development.

The NA also decided on major issues related to socio-economic development, the State budget, investment policies for national target programmes and key national projects, the national master plan, personnel matters, supervision and other important issues under its authority.

Voters in Long Phụng Commune raised a number of concerns, including the need for investment to prevent riverbank erosion along the Vệ River, where several sections remain unembanked and pose safety risks during the flood season.

They also called for the construction of a centralized clean water supply system, improvements to the drainage canal along the Bồ Đề–Mỹ Á route to facilitate travel, and dredging of the Cửa Lở estuary to ensure safe and convenient access for fishing vessels.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Công Hoàng acknowledged voters’ feedback, which focused mainly on land procedures, infrastructure investment and agricultural production.

He urged local authorities to review unresolved issues, consolidate proposals and submit them to relevant departments to advise the Provincial People’s Committee on timely solutions.

Addressing the meeting, NA Vice Chairman Trần Quang Phương appreciated voters’ opinions on social welfare, urban infrastructure, environmental protection and sustainable development.

He directly responded to and clarified issues of concern raised by voters.

He requested that matters under local and provincial jurisdiction be addressed promptly, while stressing the need for close monitoring of local conditions to formulate timely and effective policies.

He also called for decisive and coordinated implementation of administrative reform and digital transformation, and the effective operation of the two-tier local government model, with a strong focus on social and cultural development, social security, improving livelihoods, and caring for people with meritorious service, policy beneficiary families and poor households.

Issues falling under the authority of central ministries and agencies will be consolidated by the provincial NA delegation and forwarded to the National Assembly, the Government and relevant bodies for consideration and response to voters.

On this occasion, NA Vice Chairman Trần Quang Phương presented 30 gift packages to disadvantaged households and policy beneficiary families affected by recent storms and floods, and offered gifts to the leadership and civil servants of Long Phụng Commune.
