On July 8, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee Y Ngọc, together with leaders of the Department of Home Affairs and the provincial Women's Union, co-chaired the 2026 Dialogue Conference between provincial leaders and women under the theme "Supporting Women in Socio-Economic Development and Promoting Gender Equality."

The conference was held in person at the Provincial People's Committee Hall and connected online with the Ngọc Linh Hall in Kon Tum Ward.
In her opening remarks, Y Ngọc described the dialogue as an important forum for provincial leaders to listen to women's concerns, aspirations and recommendations regarding socio-economic development and gender equality.
She reaffirmed the province's commitment to creating favorable conditions for women to contribute across all sectors and emphasized that their proposals would help authorities develop practical policies and solutions.

During the dialogue, women representatives raised concerned issues, including expanding preferential credit for employment and women-led start-ups, supporting agricultural production, developing organic coffee and local agricultural brands, promoting value-added products from tea, and strengthening vocational training linked to labor market demand.
Delegates also called for greater support in product marketing, digital transformation, e-commerce for women-led OCOP products, market access, community-based tourism development and sustainable livelihood creation.
Other recommendations focused on improving healthcare for women, particularly cancer screening programs for women in mountainous and ethnic minority areas, as well as increasing support for female public employees working in disadvantaged areas, orphans, agricultural production, and market stabilization for farm inputs.
Concluding the conference, Standing Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc acknowledged the constructive and practical recommendations put forward by participants.

She requested departments, agencies and local authorities to promptly address women's legitimate concerns, particularly those related to employment, agricultural product consumption and access to preferential credit.
She also urged relevant agencies to continue effectively implementing the Provincial People's Committee's Plan No. 13 on the National Strategy on Gender Equality for the 2026–2030 period, strengthen state management on gender equality, and further promote the role of the Committees for the Advancement of Women at all levels.
The provincial and grassroots Women's Unions were encouraged to further innovate their activities, strengthen communications on Party guidelines and State policies, expand dialogue with members, and promptly disseminate new policies.
Party committees and local authorities were also called upon to continue creating favorable conditions for Women's Union activities and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of women, enabling them to make greater contributions to the province's socio-economic development.
