Four former leaders of Kon Tum Province were awarded the Labour Order by the President of Việt Nam
QUẢNG NGÃI — Four former leaders of Kon Tum Province, now part of Quảng Ngãi Province following the provincial merger, were awarded the Labour Order by the President of Việt Nam on Tuesday in recognition of their outstanding contributions to national development and the cause of socialism and national defence.
The award ceremony was attended by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee Nguyễn Đức Tâm, Vice Chairpersons of the Provincial People's Committee, former provincial leaders and representatives of provincial departments and agencies.
Under the President's decision, Nguyễn Văn Hòa, former Deputy Secretary of the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee, and Nguyễn Việt Dũng, former member of the Standing Board of the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee and former head of its Organisation Commission, were awarded the First-Class Labour Order.
Meanwhile, Nguyễn Hữu Hải and Huỳnh Tấn Phục, both former members of the Standing Board of the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee and former heads of the Organisation Commission, received the Second-Class Labour Order for their outstanding achievements during their years of public service.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tâm congratulated the recipients, describing the Labour Order as one of the State's highest honours for individuals who have made significant contributions to the country's development.
He said the awards recognised not only the recipients' personal achievements but also reflected the pride of the Party organisation, local authorities and people of Quảng Ngãi Province.
The Chairman noted that throughout their careers, the former leaders had demonstrated strong political commitment, integrity, professionalism and dedication.
Together with the provincial leadership, they had helped promote socio-economic development, strengthen national defence and security, maintain political stability and improve people's living standards.
Chairman Tâm expressed his appreciation for the former leaders' lasting contributions, saying their dedication would continue to inspire public officials and younger generations.
He affirmed that the provincial leadership would build on the achievements of previous generations, promote unity and innovation, and work towards making Quảng Ngãi a prosperous and dynamic province as well as a key development hub in the Central Highlands and central region of Việt Nam.
