The Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to implement the second phase of school construction in the land border communes of Ia Đal, Ia Tơi, Bờ Y, Đăk Long, and Đăk Plô.

The project is scheduled to commence before August 30, 2026, and be completed by August 30, 2027, providing students in border areas with stable learning and living conditions.
Under the plan, all project sites must be cleared and handed over by July 31, 2026, with construction scheduled to begin before August 30, 2026 and all works completed by August 30, 2027.
Implementing agencies are required to strictly adhere to the principle of the "six clear responsibilities": clear assignment of personnel, tasks, responsibilities, authority, timelines, and expected outcomes; while ensuring transparency, accountability, and the prevention of corruption and waste.
Each boarding school, serving both primary and secondary students, will occupy approximately 5 hectares and include around 30 classrooms, accommodating about 1,000 students.
School designs will follow an open and flexible concept, reflecting local ethnic cultures and natural conditions, while prioritizing green spaces and preserving the surrounding landscape.
Investors will apply the procedures for special public investment projects in accordance with applicable regulations to ensure timely implementation.
The Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Education and Training to coordinate with relevant agencies and local authorities in reviewing land availability, student enrollment, and teacher allocation plans. The Department of Construction will oversee the appraisal of feasibility studies, technical designs, and construction quality, while border commune authorities are responsible for completing compensation and site clearance on schedule.
In addition to state budget funding, the province has launched the campaign "The Whole Country for Beloved Border Students" to mobilize support from the armed forces, the Việt Nam Fatherland Front, mass organizations, and local residents through land donations and voluntary contributions to school construction.
The provincial Military Command and Police will deploy personnel and equipment to support construction in difficult terrain while maintaining security and public order throughout the implementation of the project.
