Provincial People's Committee’s Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tâm inspects four multi-level boarding school projects in border areas
QUẢNG NGÃI — Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Đức Tâm has inspected four multi-level boarding school projects in border areas, urging contractors to speed up construction so the schools can open for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The projects are located in Rờ Kơi, Sa Loong, Mô Rai and Dục Nông communes, with a combined investment of nearly VNĐ890 billion.
They include classrooms, dormitories, dining halls and other facilities for students in remote border areas.
Most major facilities have been completed. Remaining work includes electrical and water systems, interior finishing, equipment installation and site cleaning.
Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tâm asked contractors to mobilize additional workers, machinery and materials, work in multiple shifts where necessary, and ensure construction quality and safety.
Military, police and militia forces will continue supporting masonry, plastering, tiling and other work to help complete the projects on schedule.
Quảng Ngãi is also preparing five additional boarding school projects in Bờ Y, Ia Đal, Ia Tơi, Đăk Long and Đăk Plô communes, with a combined estimated investment of more than VNĐ1 trillion.
The projects are expected to improve learning and living conditions for students in remote and mountainous areas, while strengthening education infrastructure and supporting socio-economic development in border communities.
