Plan to implement children's work in the province by 2025

 

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 65/KH-UBND directing the implementation of children's work in the province by 2025.

The purpose is to strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels, the coordination between mass organizations, socio-political organizations, the participation of families, individuals and communities to improve the effectiveness of state management of children's work.

It will timely, fully and effectively deploy the contents of decisions, programs and projects on children's work in the province.

Key tasks were set forth

The focus is on implementing various programs and plans related to children, such as nutrition, accident prevention, mental health, and child labor.

There is an emphasis on communicating children's rights and protection services to communities, schools, and households.

Efforts are made to prevent crimes against children, abuse in the online environment, and school dropouts.

Policies are also in place to combat malnutrition, ensure vaccinations, and provide mental health care for children.

Legal aid, cultural and sports facilities, and cultural activities are emphasized to create a healthy environment for children.

Propaganda activities and children's participation in decision-making are encouraged.

Special events like the Month of Action for Children and the Mid-Autumn Festival are prioritized to promote children's safety, health, and cultural identity.

The Provincial People’s Committee has tasked the Department of Health with overseeing and coordinating the implementation of a plan to promote children's rights and protect them from abuse and violence.

They are calling on the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and other organizations to support these efforts at the local level.

The plan includes developing and implementing initiatives to care for children, conducting campaigns to educate the public, and strengthening collaboration between different sectors.

Additionally, they are working to improve data collection and reporting on child welfare, and organizing community activities to raise awareness and promote child protection.
