Quảng Ngãi - August 19, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Y Ngọc, chaired a meeting to review preparations for activities marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025).
The province will organize a wide range of political, cultural, and social events, including an art performance with low-range fireworks, a national achievements exhibition, the Quảng Ngãi Trade and OCOP Fair, book and document displays, the inauguration of key projects, and various cultural and sports activities across localities.
Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc praised the proactive efforts of departments and agencies, urging them to strengthen communication to highlight the historical and political significance of the National Day.
She also requested close supervision of key tasks, especially the national exhibition in Hà Nội, and emphasized ensuring solemnity, safety, and efficiency in all activities.
The province will also carry out gratitude programs, visits to martyrs’ cemeteries, and OCOP fairs as planned.
Art performances and fireworks will be held at 16/3 Square and Phạm Văn Đồng Square.
The provincial Military Command and the provincial Police were assigned to coordinate security measures to ensure safety and order throughout the celebrations.
