Authorised by the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyễn Văn Trọng, Acting Director of the Department of Finance, presented several draft resolutions
Continuing the agenda of its 7ᵗʰ session for the 2021–2026 tenure, the Provincial People’s Council (PPC) convened on the afternoon of December 9 to discuss and adopt a series of draft resolutions related to financial affairs submitted by the Provincial People’s Committee.
The session was co-chaired by Permanent Vice Chairman of the PPC Nguyễn Cao Phúc, alongside Vice Chairpersons Nguyễn Thế Hải and Nghe Minh Hồng.
Attending the meeting were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm, Trần Phước Hiền and Đỗ Tâm Hiển, together with leaders of relevant provincial departments and agencies.
Resolutions included: regulations on principles, criteria and allocations for recurrent expenditure estimates of local budgets for 2026 and subsequent years; decentralisation of revenue sources and revenue-sharing percentages among the central budget, the provincial budget and commune-level budgets; the provincial five-year financial plan for 2026–2030; the 2026 local budget estimate and allocation plan; the 2026 public investment plan using local budget capital; and regulations on spending responsibilities for biodiversity management at both provincial and commune levels.
Based on the submissions and verification reports from the PPC’s committees, provincial legislators reached consensus and voted to approve all six resolutions.
