On January 7, the Party Committee of Nguyen Nghiem Ward, Quang Ngai City held a conference to review the work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien attended the conference.

In 2024, the Nguyen Nghiem Ward Party Committee focused on leading and directing the implementation of the work in 2024, with many impressive results.
The socio-economic situation continues to grow well. The whole ward currently has over 184 enterprises, 2,130 business households with over 3,000 employees, and 51 small-scale handicraft production establishments, with three products meeting OCOP standards.
State budget revenue was over 15.2 billion VND, reaching 112.8 per cent of the assigned plan; disbursement of capital construction investment reached 100 per cent of the annual plan.
The ward coordinated with the Provincial Social Policy Bank to support loans and create jobs for 59 households, with a total amount of nearly 2.4 billion VND, contributing to reducing the rate of poor households in the area.
Currently, the whole ward has three poor households, accounting for 0.14 per cent and 15 near-poor households, accounting for 0.7 per cent of the total population.
Ward’s leader reports at the Conference
In 2025, Nguyen Nghiem Ward Party Committee sets a target to collect state budget of more than 12.8 billion VND and develop Nguyen Nghiem Primary School to meet national standards. Health insurance coverage in the ward will reach100 per cent , and new jobs will be created for people.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien informed party members of Nguyen Nghiem ward about the province’s socio-economic situation and outstanding achievements in 2024 as well as tasks in 2025.
Phien acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that Nguyen Nghiem ward has achieved in 2024, especially in socio-economic development, budget collection, job creation and poverty reduction.
For the tasks in 2025, the PPC’s Vice Chairman urged Nguyen Nghiem Ward to continue promoting the achievements, strive to complete the assigned targets and tasks in 2025, contributing to completing the targets set for the entire 2020-2025 term according to the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels.
Additionally, they are requested to focus on synchronously implementing solutions to maximize revenue sources, ensure budget revenue and expenditure balance, and disbursement of investment capital in the area.
