At the ceremony, the University awarded graduation certificates to 209 students who completed courses at Pham Van Dong University, including 99 undergraduate students, with majors, including Literature Pedagogy, Physics Pedagogy, English Pedagogy, Literature Pedagogy, Information Technology, Development Economics, Business Administration, Tourism, Mechanical Engineering Technology and Mechatronic Engineering, and 110 college students majoring in Preschool Education.
The University also awarded Vietnamese graduation certificates to 16 Laotian students. This is the initial result, the basis for them to enter the professional training process at university and college levels and pursue the field of study they love.
On this occasion, the University also awarded 13 students with excellent achievements in the entire course at university and college levels, and 3 Laotian students who completed the Vietnamese language course with excellent achievements.
Reportedly, Pham Van Dong University received 16 Laotian students in the academic year 2023-2024, including 10 students from Champasak province, and 6 students from Attapeu and Sekong provinces. These students studied Vietnamese for 1 year, before entering the registered majors.
In the period 2021 - 2024, Quang Ngai province authority supported scholarships for 55 Laotian students to study at universities and colleges in the province.
Human resource training for the Southern provinces of Laos is one of the main contents under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Quang Ngai province and Champasak province in the period of 2021 - 2025 and Decision No. 22/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee approving the cooperation plan between Quang Ngai province and Champasak province and some localities of Lao PDR in the 2021-2025 period.
