The Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee has approved a project to build a library for Ba Tơ Secondary School in Ba Tơ commune, Quảng Ngãi province. The initiative is funded by The Library of Vietnam Project, Inc (LOVP).
This project aims to help Ba Tơ Secondary School build a spacious library, maintain its status as a National Standard School Level 1 while fostering students' intellectual development and enhancing their self-learning, communication, language, and creative abilities.
Total project capital is about VNĐ 1,810,000,000 (equivalent to US$ 69,615.38). This includes a US$ 60,000 non-refundable grant from LOVP and the remaining counterpart funding from the People's Committee of Ba Tơ Commune.
The project will be implemented from the date of project approval until October 28, 2026.
As assigned, the Provincial Department of Health (via the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Children's Protection Fund) is responsible for receiving, managing, and implementing the project. The Department will coordinate with the LOVP and relevant agencies and localities to implement the project in compliance with the regulations in Government Decree No. 313/2025/NĐ-CP dated December 08, 2025, and other relevant regulations.
The Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with relevant agencies, will strengthen the management of activities, cooperation, and aid mobilization of the LOVP in the locality, ensuring compliance with the regulations stipulated in Government Decree No. 58/2022/NĐ-CP dated August 31, 2022, on the registration and management of activities of foreign non-governmental organizations in Việt Nam.
