The conference was held in Quang Ngai City, attracting nearly 30 cooperatives from Quang Ngai and Hau Giang provinces.
The Cooperative Unions of the two provinces introduced the scale of cooperatives, typical products, and OCOP products of the two localities.
The cooperatives brought to the conference about 60 products that have been recognized as OCOP products and typical products of the two provinces.
Cooperatives of Quang Ngai province introduced typical products such as lingzhi mushroom, purple onion, turmeric starch and products from turmeric starch, wild chili, Tay Tra ginger, wild honey, dried wild banana seeds.
Hau Giang province’s Cooperatives introduced ST25 rice, seedless lemons, green-skinned grapefruit, melons, products made from Hau Giang snakehead fish, etc.
Vice Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial Cooperative Union Ho Quy Nhan said that the conference aims at introducing products of the two provinces to promote trade and connect supply and demand among cooperatives.
This was also an opportunity for cooperatives to exchange, learn and share experiences in promoting and consuming products.
In the upcoming time, the Cooperative Unions of the two provinces will strengthen the connection and set up sales points to support cooperatives in expanding the consumption market in Quang Ngai and Hau Giang provinces.
At the conference, the cooperatives have signed cooperation agreements to connect, introduce, promote and consume products between cooperatives in Quang Ngai and Hau Giang provinces.
