On June 17, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Y Ngọc chaired a meeting to review preparations for the operation of four Ethnic Minority Boarding Schools providing combined Primary and Secondary education in border communes, including Dục Nông, Mô Rai, Sa Loong, and Rờ Kơi.

Addressing the meeting, Y Ngọc emphasized that the construction and operation of boarding schools in border areas is a significant task that not only addresses educational needs in disadvantaged areas but also contributes to improving human resource quality and strengthening national defense and security in border regions.
She requested the Department of Education and Training to urgently finalize proposals for school establishment, develop organizational structures, and arrange appropriate management staff and teachers.
Investors and construction units were directed to maximize available manpower and resources, take advantage of favorable weather conditions, and accelerate implementation while ensuring construction quality, with the goal of completing and putting project components into operation according to schedule.

According to the Department of Education and Training, preparations related to organizational structures, staffing, enrollment, and student arrangements are being finalized to ensure the schools become operational in the 2026–2027 academic year.
Regarding construction progress, the project in Rờ Kơi Commune has reached approximately 79 per cent completion, Dục Nông 73 per cent, Sa Loong 67 per cent, and Mô Rai 48 per cent.
Major facilities, including classrooms, dormitories, staff housing, dining halls, multipurpose buildings, and electricity, water, and technical infrastructure systems are progressing rapidly.
Regarding the allocation of funding for policies supporting organizations and units employing ethnic minority workers in 2026, Y Ngọc stressed that implementation must ensure transparency, accountability, compliance with regulations, and proper targeting of beneficiaries. The policy aims to create employment opportunities, improve incomes for ethnic minority workers, support sustainable poverty reduction, and promote socio-economic development in ethnic minority communities across the province.
She requested businesses and organizations that have committed to employing ethnic minority workers to ensure actual employment figures align with registered records and to fully implement labor rights and benefits in accordance with regulations.
At the same time, relevant authorities were instructed to strengthen inspection and supervision of policy implementation and strictly address any violations or misuse of support funding.
The Department of Finance was assigned to review and advise the Provincial People's Committee on the allocation of support funding for 2026 in compliance with existing regulations, ensure timely and accurate disbursement, and strengthen coordination among agencies and local authorities to promptly resolve difficulties arising during implementation.
