On July 29, Vice Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm hosted a meeting with Consul General of Japan in Đà Nẵng Mori Takero and his spouse during their visit to the province.

Vice Chairman Sâm welcomed the Consul General and introduced Quảng Ngãi’s development potential after the recent administrative merger.
He expressed the province’s willingness to cooperate with Japanese partners in industrial development, high-tech agriculture, human resource training, and labor export.
Sâm appreciated the Consulate General’s role in promoting ties between Japanese localities and Quảng Ngãi, especially in attracting investment, ODA, education, and labor cooperation.
He hoped Mr. Mori would continue to serve as a bridge for strengthening relations, particularly with Oita province.
