On the morning of July 28 in Măng Đen Commune, the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Party Committee held a consultation conference with former provincial leaders and former members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.
The purpose was to gather advice on the draft documents for the 14th National Party Congress and the 1st Quảng Ngãi Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term.
The conference was chaired by Central Party Member and Provincial Party Secretary Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân, together with Deputy Secretaries Nguyễn Đức Tuy and Đinh Thị Hồng Minh.
Participants included former Central Party Members, former Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, and other senior officials.
At the event, Đặng Minh Thảo, Chief of the Provincial Party Office, presented the draft Political Report.
The drafting committee has sought feedback from central ministries, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, the Provincial People's Council, and grassroots Party organizations.
Public opinions have also been collected through media channels, engaging intellectuals, businesses, and experts.
The draft Political Report highlights achievements in leadership, socio-economic development, defense and security, and political system building during the 2020–2025 term. It outlines strategic directions and goals tailored to Quảng Ngãi's post-merger realities.

Delegates praised the draft’s quality and suggested refining it to better reflect the province’s unique post-merger landscape.
They emphasized the need to assess Quảng Ngãi’s strengths—its coastline, deep-sea port, international border gate, and potential in high-tech agriculture and long-term industrial crops like coffee, rubber, and pepper.
Participants also called for clearer economic targets, policy and administrative reforms, infrastructure investment, and stronger support for ethnic minority leadership training.
In her closing remarks, Provincial Party Secretary Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân expressed her appreciation for the valuable insights shared.
She emphasized that all feedback would help refine the draft documents to ensure they are practical, strategic, and aligned with both local development needs and national integration goals.
She encouraged former leaders to continue supporting the success of Quảng Ngãi’s 1st Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term.
