The Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee has issued Decision No. 1028/QD-UBND dated October 22, 2026, announcing a list of approved venues and priority sectors for trade fairs and exhibitions in the province in 2027.
Under the decision, a total of 49 venues across the province have been approved to host trade fairs and commercial exhibitions.
Major venues include the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Convention and Exhibition Centre on Phạm Văn Đồng and Cao Bá Quát streets, Phạm Văn Đồng Square, Mỹ Khê Urban and Service Area, the former airport site in Nghĩa Lộ Ward, and the Provincial Labour Cultural House.
The list also includes stadiums, parks and cultural and sports centres in communes, wards and special zones across the province.
The province will prioritise events organised by provincial authorities, as well as exhibitions showcasing products under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme, outstanding rural industrial products and other products with clear origins that are legally permitted for sale on the market.
The provincial Department of Industry and Trade is responsible for reviewing applications and issuing written confirmations to registered businesses and organisations. It will also coordinate inspections and supervision to prevent counterfeit, imitation and substandard goods, thereby protecting consumer rights.
The provincial police, Department of Health, local authorities and public utility service providers, including electricity, water supply and environmental sanitation units, will support event organisers in meeting requirements on public security, fire prevention and fighting, traffic safety, food safety and venue arrangements.
Organisers are required to complete all legal procedures, ensure product quality and fulfil their commitments. After each event, they must return the venue in the agreed condition, settle service costs and submit a report on the event's results to the Department of Industry and Trade.
