Deputy Minister of Education and Training checks preparations for 2025 National High School Graduation Exam

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Võ Phiên, has recently received a delegation from the National Steering Committee for the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam, led by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Phạm Ngọc Thưởng to check preparations for 2025 National High School Graduation Exam.

To ensure thorough preparation for the 2025 exam, the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee has issued directives assigning clear responsibilities to departments and local authorities to coordinate and implement the exam in a safe, serious, and regulation-compliant manner.

The Provincial Exam Steering Committee, headed by the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, was promptly established to oversee the exam's organization across the province.

Additional directives have also been issued to relevant agencies to strengthen security, safety, and contingency planning.

According to the Quảng Ngãi Department of Education and Training (DOET), a total of 14,517 candidates have registered for the 2025 exam—14,179 under the 2018 General Education Program and 338 under the 2006 curriculum.

The province will organize 36 exam sites with 687 rooms, including 651 exam rooms, 18 waiting rooms, and 36 backup rooms. 2,328 staffs will be mobilized for the exam.

Deputy Minister Phạm Ngọc Thưởng acknowledged and highly appreciated the strong leadership of the provincial Party Committee and People's Committee, as well as the proactive efforts by local departments and the Quảng Ngãi education sector in preparing for the exam.

He urged the Provincial Steering Committee to strictly follow the Prime Minister’s directives on exam preparation, focus on comprehensive leadership and supervision, promptly develop inspection and monitoring plans, enhance communication about new exam features, and ensure careful planning in terms of human and material resources to guarantee a safe and compliant exam.

The Deputy Minister also emphasized the importance of personal responsibility among all participants, from managers and teachers to students, and called for full understanding and implementation of exam regulations.

Speaking at the session, Vice Chairman Võ Phiên expressed gratitude for the Ministry's support and affirmed the province’s commitment to refining its plans to ensure a successful and secure exam.

He also directed DOET and relevant agencies to review all procedures, with special attention to training on updated exam regulations, ensuring all stakeholders are well-prepared for the 2025 exam.
