The Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) on August 15 held a ceremony to announce the appointment of Nguyễn Ngọc Tuấn as Director of the VBSP Quảng Ngãi Branch.
Tuấn previously served as Acting Director of the branch from July 1, 2025, and officially assumed the position on August 13, 2025.
The event was attended by Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Party Committee; Nguyễn Cao Phúc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Đoàn Trung Thành, Deputy General Director of VBSP; leaders of provincial departments and agencies; and members of the Board of Representatives of the VBSP Quảng Ngãi Branch.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm, who is also Head of the Provincial Board of Representatives of VBSP, expressed his confidence that with his capability, experience, and dedication, Tuấn will lead the branch with unity and innovation, effectively implementing policy credit programs, ensuring loan quality and capital safety, and best serving poor households and other policy beneficiaries.
He also requested the new Director to continue strengthening the branch after the recent merger, enhance solidarity, promote collective strength, and closely coordinate with departments, mass organizations, and local authorities to deliver policy credit capital accurately, sufficiently, and promptly.
At the same time, he emphasized the need to improve credit quality, ensure capital safety, and reduce overdue debts.
