Vice Chairman Trần Phước Hiền chairs the meeting
Vice Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee Trần Phước Hiền chaired a meeting on September 9 with provincial departments, local authorities and investors to review the progress of projects facing difficulties and prolonged delays.
The province is currently reviewing 111 projects in two groups.
The first includes 61 projects eligible for special mechanisms and policies under National Assembly Resolution No. 29/2026/QH16.
The second comprises 50 projects under the province’s own authority.
For the group of 61 projects, the province has established a specific roadmap and assigned responsibilities to relevant agencies and provincial leaders.
So far, 28 projects have been resolved, while 33 remain under review and settlement.
For the 50 projects under provincial authority, 16 projects have been resolved, with the remaining 34 continuing to be handled according to the approved plan.
Vice Chairman Trần Phước Hiền delivers remarks at the meeting
Vice Chairman Trần Phước Hiền asked investors to proactively review their projects, develop feasible implementation plans and ensure progress.
Investors were also requested to work closely with local authorities to address planning, land allocation and site handover procedures.
Provincial departments and local administrations were instructed to review each project, strengthen coordination and provide timely support to investors within their authority.
The province will prioritize projects that meet the required conditions instead of waiting to process all projects at the same time, helping accelerate the settlement process.
The Provincial Department of Finance has received all 61 investment proposals from investors and completed appraisal of 60 dossiers, while guiding the investor to complete the remaining dossier.
Quảng Ngãi aims to resolve the remaining projects in a timely and practical manner, helping unlock land resources, improve the efficiency of investment resources and create favorable conditions for businesses and investors.
The move is also expected to contribute to stronger economic growth and improve the province’s investment and business environment.
