QUẢNG NGÃI — Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Trần Phước Hiền on Monday morning chaired a working session with the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Inspectorate to review the implementation of its 2025 work programme and outline tasks for the remaining two months of the year.
In line with central and provincial directives, the Inspectorate has completed its organizational streamlining plan toward greater efficiency.
It currently consists of the Office and eight professional divisions, with 184 approved staff positions, including 150 civil servants and six contractual employees under Decree 111.
Notably, 34 per cent of staff hold master’s degrees and 65.3 per cent hold bachelor’s degrees.
As of mid-October, the agency had carried out 198 inspections across 810 entities, issuing conclusions for 160 cases.
The inspections uncovered violations worth VNĐ 35.8 billion and 62,235 sq.m of land misuse, recommending the recovery of VNĐ 13.9 billion for the State budget and the handling of an additional VNĐ 21.9 billion and 62,235 sq.m of land. Three cases with criminal indications have been referred to investigative authorities.
Regarding citizen reception and complaint resolution, provincial agencies have received more than 4,300 citizen visits and processed over 9,300 petitions, with 7,694 valid for settlement.
The Inspectorate itself handled 330 petitions and advised the provincial chairman on resolving 16 out of 17 complaints and denunciations under his jurisdiction, achieving a 94.1 per cent resolution rate.
A highlight of 2025 has been the agency’s strong push for digital transformation, reducing on-site inspections by processing documents electronically, introducing an e-file management system, online complaint reception, and public disclosure of inspection results via its official website.
The agency has also piloted online citizen reception, improving transparency, efficiency, and public interaction.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Trần Phước Hiền commended the agency’s leadership and staff for their professionalism, dedication, and integrity, noting that many officers have demonstrated strong capacity and have been promoted to key leadership positions in the provincial administration.
He urged the Inspectorate to continue enhancing its organizational structure, ensuring staff are assigned to suitable positions, and to strengthen training in inspection skills, citizen engagement, and anti-corruption.
The Vice Chairman emphasized the need to apply digital and AI technologies in inspection, complaint handling, and internal management to increase transparency and accountability.
He also called for stronger monitoring of unresolved inspection conclusions and long-standing citizen complaints, ensuring timely and lawful resolution.
